Work will start shortly on further enhancing our practice facilities after a successful bid to the R&A’s COVID-19 Support Fund.
We’re delighted to have received the maximum available award of £10k towards a project which will slightly extend existing practice ground facilities, level areas used for practice, improve drainage and irrigation, and introduce matting for year-round use.
It adds to recent course and clubhouse improvements and enhances the membership offer at our club.

It’s been a cracking few days for our junior section
First, Eva Myers was crowned Derbyshire Under 14s Girls Champion after shooting a fabulous 84 gross at Kedleston Park Golf Club.
And it was followed by Oliver Neal winning the Derbyshire Boys Under 14s version when he carded a magnificent 78 to win by five shots at Chevin.

The pair weren’t the only CGC players to taste success during the two events.
At Kedleston, Olivia Barker-Sabido won the best nett overall prize after shooting a very impressive 93-28 for a net 65. It saw her win the nett prize by seven shots.

Olivia Streets carded the third best nett with a 87-12 for a 75.
At Chevin Benjamin Wharton joined the celebrations with second placed nett with a 92-24 for a 68.

Keep up the great work team. We’re super proud of you!
