COVID-19: following guidance and remaining hopeful
Our golf course and clubhouse remain closed in accordance with Government guidance in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Four of our greens team remain on-site to ensure the golf course is in good condition when we are given the all-clear to resume golfing activities and we are hopeful this will not now be far away.
Our Secretary-Manager Sean Boyle continues to work, predominantly from home to comply with movement restrictions, and can be contacted by email: secretary@chesterfieldgolfclub.co.uk
We will continue to follow guidance from the Government and England Golf and update our website and social media channels as further information becomes available.
Your efforts raised over £6,000 for charity – well done team CGC!
Our outgoing Captains Paul Bywater and Barbara Sims capped a fantastic year when they handed over the proceeds of their charity efforts.
British Heart Foundation and NSPCC representatives visited our club to receive cheques to support their work.
Paul raised £3,517.44 for the British Heart Foundation during his year as Club Captain.
Barbara raised £2,493.44 for the NSPCC in her time as Captain of the Ladies Section.
The dynamic duo was brilliantly supported throughout their fund-raising efforts by golf club members. Well done Team CGC!
