Chesterfield Golf Club is one of the region’s leading destinations - proudly carrying the stamp of one of the world's greatest ever course designers and regularly hosting top-level events.
Legendary designer Harry Colt - who counted 2025 Open Championship venue Royal Portrush and world famous Sunningdale among his many design truimphs - created our back nine holes. The holes continue to have modern day architects purring as 'Colt classics' and match seemlessly with our front nine layout.
We are proud to have hosted the Midlands Amateur Championships on each of the last two occasions it has come to Derbyshire.
In recent year we have hosted the English Schools Championships and an England v Wales international fixture. In 2025 we again hosted the Derbyshire Amateur Championships and several home fixtures for the county's representative sides.
We've been a Mizuno Pairs Tour venue since 2021.
