For the first time in the history of the Club all three Captains took part in the Drive In on Sunday 12th April from the 10th tee and there was a good crowd of members there to cheer them on.

The Junior Captain James Wadsworth was the first to drive achieving a magnificent distance of 212 yards into an extremely strong wind.
Pat Woodhouse won the prize for guessing the correct distance.
Next to go was the Ladies Captain, Joan Bywater, followed by the Club Captain David Cromwell. Both did extremely well and the measured distance between the two drives was 41 yards; Keith Mosely had guessed the exact difference.
