Tuesday 10th March saw many volunteers arrive at the Club bright and early with their rakes to help with the twig clearing on the golf course. They started work on the 10th and worked their way around in groups attempting to cover all the fairways. It was a tall order as some places were worse than others and needed more time spent on them to do a thorough job. Needless to say they have made a great difference and we are so grateful for the time that they have given to the Club. The picture below shows everyone enjoying a rewarding cup of coffee and a bacon butty at the halfway house before continuing with their efforts. A big thank you to all those members who took part.
